  • Cedric was feelin it that nite!!!!

  • i never said they were good just for being related to RHCP, when i started to get into the mars volta i didnt even knew that omar rodriguez and john frusciante where friends...im just trying (i know its pretty useless) to explain to the guys who dont know much about TMV that you cant call them "shit" just because they seem "odd"...relating them to a more known band like RHCP

  • They are indeed a good band, but not by your flawed logic of: "if they're associated with rhcp they MUST be good." I mean wtf? TMV SHIT ALL OVER RHCP!!! and i love rhcp!

sound quality is too shit to hear their amazingness.

  • You can see where Ross Halfin got a half dozen snapshots from this clip alone. Bad sound, great footage, though.

  • im tired of dudes like this, feeling with enough power to cryticize who is a "good band" or "crappy band" it sucks...the red hot chili peppers are one of the best bands out there...and "by the way", Omar has played for this "crappy band", flea played THE WHOLE BASS PART FOR DELOUSED and john frusciante plays on almost every song by the mars volta...you probably already know that so..."crappy band"?? i dont think so...

  • i was there! good show.

  • I'm sure you're right! but unless I someday return to the US or someother country where they go on their tours... I'm screwed

  • I refuse to see them opening for another band...see them alone, it WILL stop your heart! I've seen them twice, at the same place.. a small venue where I can be a few feet away. You just have to risk being knocked down my jerks.

  • 1. They didn't play a lot, since they were only opening for RHCP.

    2. Amputechture had been out only for a couple of days and I hadn't been able to really grasp the power and complexity of the album.

And they were opening up for another band. TMV being the main event may stop my heart. I'm willing to take the risk, though.

  • My first, and so far only, time I've seen them live was during that tour (I was in the US that summer) and it was amazing. They played this song too. I only regret two things:
