Why do the Greek Orthodox priests use the Isaiah blessing when he is a Jewish prophet ? is Greek Orthodoxy just a minor offshoot of Judaism ? When will Jesus return ? Next week, month, year, never ??? Will he arrive via clouds in downtown Athens ? So many questions, very few answers. μὴ μελέτω σοι.

Eastern Orthodoxy is the original Christian Church founded 2000 years ago. So really we aren't an offshoot of Judaism, just a continuation of Ancient Israel. All the Prophets belong to us as much as the Saints and Fathers of the last 2 millenia. Also, the Orthodox Church is the second largest single communion of Christians in the world (second only to the Roman Catholics) as we have over 200 million worldwide. (mainly centered in Eastern Europe, the eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East)

@belladeballe orthodoxy is the true religion about God. Not just a religion but the truth. Before having a an orthodox marriage, you should first be babtized acording to the orthodox ritual.
