They help patients manage stress through relaxing activities and by facilitating expression of feelings in positive and effective ways.

Music therapists must be adept at a variety of psycho therapeutic, physical rehabilitation, and teaching techniques.

They help express creativity, empathy, are patient and able to give easy-to-follow instructions, and able to play a variety of musical instruments.
