I like Mark Twains method in the Capt. Eli Stormfields ... book. Hitch a ride on a large metalic asteroid that travels to the outer solar system. Hollow out enough for living. Manafacture effecient atomic ion motors using the mined ores and other parts from earth. Then you use the mass of the asteroid for fuel. As you hollow it out you get more interior space. Its as well protected from high energy rays and small collisions as best as I can concieve as possible at the momert.

@fanmbv31 Yes Captain !

@REPADIGITAL ever heard of lasers and photon torpedos?

@fanmbv31 1300000 years later and i bet is still about politics instead of what really matters in our future. we should also explore the depths of the ocean a bit more i can think of a better training ground.
Great plan though i hope it works out for us

I think a moon city should be built with space ports in the future.

You need shield tecnolgy too lads for protection from radition

Using the Moon and Mars as possible hubs / colonies could better our chances of future space exploration for all man kind !
I have a plan -
for the moment - sending manned missions to other systems is out of the questions, we barely conquered our own system, we should colonize the moon, use it as a resource base for mars, and other moons and planets. Using them as economic centers or mining bases, in this way, we can get familiar with space travel and by then gather enough resources for a cheap, and advanced manned mission to other systems.

Errrmm travelling at such speed brings a big problem....micro-meteorites and other space debris, at those speeds it's goodnight
