  • omfg.. these are things we gotta know

  • For a long time, plugs used to be the standard. Now the best method is to patch the tire from the inside after removing the wheel. The best way to see if this has been done is to check for marks on the tire pointing to a spot on the wheel. This was made so that the technicians making the repair didn't have to rebalance the tire. If I saw one of these marks, I would at least ask for a discount on all 4 tires. Wear on the spare tire is another good indication of how the car was treated too.
