Flying Squirrel - In tree and in flight.

While working on my land in VT, I saw two flying squirrels in a dead tree. It was pretty unusual to see them since they are nocturnal, but I think it was because I was cutting trees near by and the noise woke them up.

Also, did it ever cross your little mind that maybe the trees being cut were small, dead ones? Just ones being cleared out to allow animals and other wild life to make their habitats more easily? @xXxMistywolfxXx It is highly unlikely that your entire house is made from concrete. The main materials for building a house are: concrete,(for the foundation), WOOD,(for just about everything else,walls,floor,floorboards,r­ailings,roofs etc.) and metal (nails,windows,possibly doors.) So basically your entire house is wood. Without wood we would not be where we are today.

@xXxMistywolfxXx Let me guess, the type that didn't disturb any wildlife to make?  As in didn't use any gravel and wasn't mixed at a factory and wasn't trucked to your house site, which, by the way, must have been free of trees and grass and vegetation before your house was built...
