NBC was in desperation mode in the early 1980s, so much so that they brought back Redd Foxx as Fred Sanford and also put "Sanford" on Friday nights, just like the original. But as with most everything else on Nobody's Broadcasting Company, it failed.
Notice the "4707" on the door? On S&S the house number was 9114. What happened there? The living room looks somewhat different too. One thing didn't change, however: the ongoing verbal jibes between Fred and Esther.

Well, not sure about the renumbering of the house. That is a good notice.
As for Daniel. The story line is the same but for some reason his name was changed to Cliff in the new series. It was mentioned that Woody had past away.
