The new EU has a chance to fix many problems which the current world can't fix. The only thing that is certain here, is that we cant stand how we are and we cant survive with the current structure of society.
The EU could result in a major failure, it could cause war and millions of deaths, but its a step into the future, and regardless of how scary and unpredictable it might look, its a step thats necessary.

I am thoroughly pro-Europe. I attach no value to petty, tribalistic divisions between arbitrary boundaries. We are humans. A republic of Humanity should be the end goal. And a united Europe is one step further along that road.
