It just amazes me. There is a lot of ignorance and racism hidden in Canada whether we like to admit it or not.

The first video

There was an apology but I can't find it anymore

  • Je parle les deux langues. Malheureusement, plus souvent(et de plus en plus) je dois parler en Anglais, car certaines personnes ne veulent pas apprendre notre langue. Si je vais à Toronto, forget-it, no one s gonna speak in French. But in Montréal, we french are gonna serve you in English. I dunno why anglophone who actually speak english dont speak it. You guys have the cutest accent when you speak French, and we r not gonna laugh at you. I m so proud to speak 2(and more) languages. Diversité

  • @AmaoNoBolso I think it is because anglophones aren't as interested in learning French because Canada is predominantly English. I tried learning French but it is hard especially when people speak fast or add slang.

  • @dramabitchespolitics well yes, i can understand if you live in B.C. or Alberta, but, seriously, in Qc, people will speak to you in english but, for a living, i mean, if you r interested into knowing people and culture and so on, well, it s not a surprise that french language is needed. We all learn. I have learn english, i had fun learning it, it s no....big deal.......

  • @AmaoNoBolso I do live in Alberta. My 4,5, and 6th grade French teacher was Spanish. He just read to us from the French English dictionary. From that point on it was hard for me to learn French. I love the language I am past the age where I can learn it fluently. My brother is fluent in French though because he went to french immersion school. Quebec is rich in culture and I admire that.

  • @dramabitchespolitics The same rule applies when francophones learn English , In the US for example most everyone speaks slang and NOT proper English

  • @delorme9 I know every language has slang. That is what makes other languages hard to learn. When you go to French class most teachers don't teach you the slang.

  • I only watched this because she has a nice rack

  • Thank you. As a Québécoise, I am happy to see that all our efforts to speak as much english as we can are noticed by somebody. I'm also happy to hear that not all of the anglophones in Canada think they same way that boy's thinking. I'm am proud of being a Canadian and I'm am proud of being french.

  • @TheKhanken Actually, french is Languedoc not Languedoïl :p

  • English is 28.3% Langue d'oïl, including French and Old Norman. So if anyone hates French, they should also stop speaking English.

  • I like the hair, but on the topic, can you imagine how Iraqis felt? The people who live in French Canada believe that NOT learning to speak French is an insult and lazy ignorance on the parts of the people who only speak English, but they felt that way always. The whole Ugly American thing is about Americans who go to a foreign country and want them to become like us for their benefit. That is just as rude. Mexican isn't true Castillian Spanish either. English is now the "exploding language".

  • Teamwork and comprehension form the path to success at all levels. Racism, whatever brand and fear are weaknesses of human nature and tools used to divert the attention from ,important issues. When important issues are at stake - no one cares about skin color or language. Those battles are fought at a low level for low stakes. I liked your video because it shows true human value.... Thank you.
