Of mice and men

thats so sad, but im used to it, i mean in northern michigan, you do what you have to do

If you want to release the mouse alive pour some cooking oil on the glue trap especially around the legs and whatever else is stuck to the glue, the cooking oil will deactivate the glue, it's much easier for you and the mouse.

It would be less painful for the mouse if you just used a hammer on his head. Instant death.

Five seconds after he released it, snatched by a hawk! What a waste of time.

What I don't understand is why you say you helped the thing by freeing it. You obviously put the glue trap in your house in the first place.
