2007 Charger 2.7 L - Magnaflow Exhaust

Magnaflow straight through muffler on a single 2.5 inch pipe from front to back (stock it came with a 2 and a quarter inch rear pipe from the muffler - changed that to the 2.5 inch) and no back box (aka resonator - sound dampener) so it is alittle louder then stock but not much at the idle. It is a cold start so the RPM is at 1000 on the idle. Revved it up to 3500 RPM

thats what i say california henry,,and besides who can aford the srt ,never mind the gas for it,,werer all not millinares ,i only make 40 grand a year,,and i like to hear the sound of my motor,,and i think the 2.7 sounds kinda cool,,can i just get rid of the resonator henry?what happens then?,,up here in canada,the ticket for tinted windows is 110 bucks,i just keep paying them lol,,and besides my crappy engine is fast enough for me,,id be in big trouble if i had a hemi,

YES, you can get rid of the resonator...I did. that is what makes my exhaust a little louder...that and the muffler is a Straight Flow muffler - allows more power and better mileage. Though not much more power. DO that and change you air intake to an open air intake and you should be able to free roughly 15-17 more horses and around the same in torque.

Go with the dual tail pipe configuration...looks nicer - no difference in power compared to a changed single pipe configuration like my Charger is. I am going Dual ail Pipes next month for the look.

mine is also tinted...Ticket for that and if I did not take off the tint, it was gonna cost me $478...I took off the tint, had the ticket signed off and paid the $10 for the fix it ticket and then had the windows retinted. hahaha

mine is at least 5 times louder than this, am running flowmaster super 10 racing series, its also at least twice as loud as the 44's and still has the muscle roar, no ricer bs.
