Resistance on the trim pot is 10 KOM. I can added more effects in microcontroller. Maybe 5-6.

Ahhh, I see. You could also use momentary switches to change between effects, right? Which is easier to program? It's so hard to find decent-sized non-trim pots. >_<

Also, what MC are you using? PIC?

For choice effects, I use button. For speed effects - trimer-potentiometer. PIC is 16F684.
