I understand what he was trying to say at the end...but "Yes Lord" was never meant to "Calm" people down...it is meant or at least at my church, is used as a transition from "Praise" to "Worship!" So after a heavy spirit of praise enters the building & people begin to come out of a period of praise...many times there's still a "lingering" of the Spirit in which people tend to navigate from praise to worship & that is what the chant is "supposed" to be used for...not to calm people down per-say!
