@gumpcom CCP has said that they really, really wanted to give us joystick controls for the ships, but it wasn't feasible at the time, nor is it feasible right now.
As with everything else, they'll probably bring it with an update a decade from now :D

since when did eve ships have cockpits? I thought the pilot lived in a little fetal pod and gave orders with his mind. also;
Gallente ship is sexy as usual, amarr looks like jango/boba fetts ship from star wars, caldari looks goregeous, which is rare...
and minmitar...lets just not talk about them...

@dandashem The guys in these cockpits are grunts who aren't privileged enough to have access to pod technology. Once they die, they die. They are however paid well. A create of quaffe is sent to their family if their contract is "terminated" prematurely :)

Yeah, this was on Sisi. Fighter Bombers were meant to be deployed in Dominion, but they were postponed along with some other super capital changes. The changes and bombers are however being deployed in Dominion 1.1 :)
