An original song conceived, written, recorded, and uploaded (twice [the first was messed up]) all in the same evening.

Lyrics:

My last week in this old town
But I still can't figure out
Why I never really felt quite at home

This place a mess, I cannot find
The motivation to clear my mind
But it's time to pack my things and head out the door

The passage is open now
to a thick misty shroud
That I must traverse
Through the years

Maybe one day I'll be
Maestro of a symphony
And my tears of joy
Will fall like rain

It's a shame we're preordained
The future has us ball-and-chained
Forcing us against our will just where we'll be

I've nothing left here to achieve
So please allow me reprieve
it is time to pack my things and head out the door

The passage is open now
to a thick misty shroud
That I must traverse
Through the years

Maybe one day I'll be
Maestro of a symphony
And the tears of joy
will fall like rain

  • Thank you :)

(We should find time to jam/make music together sometime. Mayhaps sometime in January before school resumes? Think about it...)
