This is altruism at its best, rescuing this family after the flash floods at Lake Isabella. The question is, how many times will this be repeated in recently destabilized areas after the Ventana-Los Padres wilderness fires, including the one that swept through Tassajara, this year?
It would seem that extreme wether brings unanticipatible aftermath, short and long term.
Wonderful that this really daring rescue succeeded, by these highly competent and generous-spirited rescuers
