  • what guage wire do you reccomend? 18, 20, 22, 24, 26? or can you use any? ( this is important to me) I own this gizmo but hadn't figured out how to use thank you thank you!!

  • Personally, I would work with 20 - 22 gauge wire when working with this tool. Too thick and you might damage the tool, while too thin a gauge might be too thin to hold it's shape. You can also temper your jump rings with a chasing hammer and dapping block to harden the jump rings after shaping.

  • what kind of cutters are these? it went by kind of fast.

  • The cutters we used are high quality Lindstrom Side Cutters. Hope this helps. (:

  • seriously wtf is a jump ring!!!!!!!!!!??????????

  • A Jump ring is a finding that is used to connect one portion of your jewelry to the next. For example: You have a length of chain that you want to make into a necklace, but you also want to hang a charm from the chain. You would use a jump ring to connect the charm to the chain.

  • What is the easiest and cheapest way to make jump rings I need jump rings at 2.75 mm and about 4.75 what can I make that size with because they are expensive to buy already made

  • whyy do you talk lke a robot?? so f'in slow

  • @panzuman Hello, How do you make the jumprings using a drill?

  • @SuperSmashSisterz i use pv pipe to feed the coil into the cutting disc of my dremal tool its very effective

  • @panzuman what do you cut your jump rings with?

  • Thanks for the informative videos--they really help, and are easy to follow! :)

I have a question regarding chasing hammers. What is the difference between a chasing hammer and a claw or ball-peen, etc. hammer?

  • that is quite possibly the worst mandrill ive ever seen i made my own and i can pop out nearly 300 rings in about 40 seconds(i use a drill)

  • what kind of wire do you use with this jump ring maker? what are some brands and what is the wire called?

  • i am ordering 20 and 22 gauge wire and i notice there are different types besides the gauge sizes..dead soft, half hard and full hard..im guessing it isnt dead soft....is full hard better or half hard is ok? the last thing i would want is for my work to bend and fall apart
