The problem with both movies is neither addresses the fact that the Earps, including Wyatt worked as pimps and were not exactly honest as gamblers. History remembers the romantic.

Wyatt Earp was way more realistic than Tombstone, which is why its considered more boring than Tombstone. In Tombstone, that corral fight was all Hollywood. Doc fired 3 shots from a double barrel shotgun and like 16 from a pair of 6 shooters without ever reloading lol. And then theres the, "ur a daisy if ya do" line. Like that would happen. It was cool, but not real. Wyatt Earp isnt as good a movie, because sometimes reality is a bit boring.

What's wrong with saying they are both good. Wyatt seems to be more centered around Kevin's personality than reality. I'll have to watch it again for historical accuracy. Tombstone had quite a bit.

fuck that, Tombstone had alot more obvious historical accuracies and the acting was all top notch, but I dont know, Wyatt Earp has alot more soul, and I loved Val Kilmer as Doc in Tombstone.. but Dennis Quaid-shit I doubt if a million years come and go you could top Quaids portrayal as Doc...just the introductory meeting of Doc and Wyatt itself, thats one of my favorite scenes of all time...Wyatt Earp is pure gold..
