L'astronaute de l'ASC Chris Hadfield se trouve chez « Zvezda », en Russie, pour essayer sa combinaison spatiale Sokol et l'équipement qu'il portera pour son lancement et son atterrissage à bord de l'engin spatial Soyuz. Le lancement de la mission Expedition 34/35 est prévu pour décembre 2012 alors qu'Hadfield décollera pour une mission de 6 mois à bord de la Station spatiale internationale.
