@womanof02 If u really want to do good to humanity read the works of Enlightenment thinkers &be part of the "Brights movement" to support a naturalistic worldview. Why make ur & others life miserable for an afterlife no one is sure abt. God is an invention of man, morality evolves &that is why all cultures though they have different deities they have almost same rules of natural justice(do good etc). The word Allah predates Islam and is short for (Al-IlaH) one of the moon gods that is why the crescent is the symbol of Islam. Quran Surah 53:19 mentions the idols that were daughters of Allah.
