I read many of the negative comments here and I'm can't believe the the ignorance of some people. FYI Karim is one of the best percusionists in the world and he is an awesome and patient instructor. I own all his dvds and they are a step by step process. the fast playing here is not showing off, it is an advanced stage of learning.
