Oh well, what ever floats their boat is fine with me.
But I do agree on the fact that many of them seem very superficial and pretentious. I find that most of them are always talking about how rock and roll this is and how hippie that is. And when they say they're unique they are actually just a copy of another hipster. But if they're copying some other hipsters then I guess that is the style that they're going for, which means that is who they want to be. :-)

@lovebreathedancee So by seriously dont caring about whether you belong to "the standing-out class" or not, you are being more unique.
-
@lovebreathedancee ... as everyone else. What they do not understand is the fact that it is not about "being aware of standing out". That statement is in itself contradictive as you are not actually standing out as a person but trying too hard and in a very superficial way to be uis unique through. Standing out is about standing out as a person. And these hipsters are just superficial!!
-
@lovebreathedancee They just seem so superficial and pretentious to me. They contradict themselves as they claim to belong to a "creative class" that stands out but really don't. They are following the exact same trends as everyone else, wearing the exact same jeans, jackets etc. And apparently they are VERY aware how to define their "own style" in comparison to other peoples' style. They are trying so hard to be unique and individual that their line of thinking is exactly the same

Because they don't stand out, that's why they would rather find someone who dresses up a bit weirder than everyone else (The normal people that is)
And most of them feel like artists and that's why they dress so funny, they feel like they're creating art. Also, you have no right calling them faggots, that's really offensive. They're just being who they are, can't really hate on them for that.
But I personally love this girl's style! I think it's quite fantastic :-)

why the fuck are all these look books alyways with fucking hipster/make up/ artists/model faggots. what about normal fucking hard working people who doesnt dress up so they can look cool to they other fucking faggot hipster friends
