  • This is most ingenious and must be employed to offset green house gas emissions. I have pondered for years about this problem and just discovered you and your idea. Thank you for this simple yet effective discovery.

If a vacuum could exist between these pains then you could negate conductive heat loss and further the insulative qualities of this design

    Good job

  • @TheSolarmike Vacuum is a possibility, or at least low vapour pressure. However, it makes it necessary to have stands to separate the panels, and those would be visible and conduct heat, but not much.

Or one could use the more far out idea of separating the panes electrostatically, by charging them.

  • Greetings, Kim,

Im studying Product Design and Innovation, here in University of South Australia, and I came across your idea whilst looking at Electrochromism. This is great stuff, I hope you take it further as it's a brilliant idea that would challenge the innovation of electrochromism. All the best in the future for this Kim!

  • @justdannieboo

Thanks, and I agree about electrochromism.

More of my stuff is at kim.oyhus.no

  • I enjoyed your video and the intelligent simplicity of this idea.

I follow the principle of "Keep It Simple, Stupid!"

    and Ockhams Razor.

They are really two sides of the same principle.

I see that the Pulse Pump is a nice and original application of multiphase flow engineering, which I worked with for the oil industry, where I doubled the accuracy of viciously viscous calculations, which they practically fired me for.

True science is better than having it checked by an engineer, and this you can do yourself. Just measure the properties of different Pulse Pumps, and use this for documentation and improvement.

  • Very interesting. I have never seen this idea before.

I know what you mean about people posturing. I made the Pulser Pump almost 25 years ago. This year someone nominated me for the "next idea" prize in Linz, Austria. It still has not been properly checked by any scientist or engineer!

Most people look at the person first and their brain switches off if they think the person is lower than them in the "pecking order". Most people follow the crowd too. If there is no Crowd, nobody believes.

  • Thanks, JustDannieBoo.

  • Thank you.

It has shown me how totally uninterested people really are in environmental issues, because if they really cared, they would use technology like my SunValve, instead of posturing, talking, threatening, and politicizing.
