@alikos88 yes nepali language is a branch of indo-aryan language. indo-aryan language include hindi, bengali language. nepali language is a official language of nepal. on the hands gurkhas have their own languages. Gurkhas languages falls under Kiranti language. Kiranti language is Tibeto-Burmese branch of Sino-Tibetan language family.

how similar is Hindi to Neplai?
I know some hindi and I could understand a few words they were saying w/o looking at the subtitles. Is Nepali a branch off Sanskrit?
