I have to agree. There was something a little cooler/mysterious about them during the U.F. era. The Joshua Tree was kind of cool when it was first released but within a few months they just got too into the cowboy stuff and loving being too big. I knew something changed when the jocks in my high school began wearing U2 shirts around 1987. They would have never worn them during the UF era. During the UF, they were still sort of a college radio band (even though they were still very big).

Ok, so hes not allowed to wear a hat? Bono knows he cant save the planet, hes just doing his best to use his fame to help others. Hes done alot of good things. How is that bad, have you done better lately? Theyre not pretentious at all, listen to them talk. If there are 4 more humble, low key celebrities, i'm waiting to see them!

When I first head this on Whistle Test BBC 2 I shot my load, then I waited for the NME to include a remixed version of this in their next pressing. Makes my hair stand up, thanks for uploading this mate

@drummer78 with you the uf era was awesome it the best u2 period for me as an album and live bono was simply amazing back then.

One of their better songs. Always makes me remember the weather when I bought the tape.......foggy and misty..too bad theres not a better quality post of this song. It sucks.

I saw them April 1 on this tour at Madison Square Garden NYC. The first of many concerts I've seen of U2 but probably the most special.
