Nice video. Elitists really need to be brought down a peg or two; I can't stand Avenged Sevenfold, but metalheads need to stop condemning such bands and their fans for "corrupting" their beloved ideal of "true" metal. This is fascist thinking applied to a musical arena. If you like it, listen to it and support it; if you don't, don't. It's that simple. Music should be about harmony and collaborative spirit, not the aggressive preservation of isolated aesthetics.

excellent video. elitism is a mainstream agenda whereby people are encouraged and coersed into listening to specific music because it is 'hip' and 'trendy'.

the same theory apllies here. elitists will slag you off because they want you to like only their music because it is 'tr00 metul'. they lack the comprehensive capability to embrace other subgenre's for what they are, instead of what THEY want it to be.

i've heard these avenged sevenfold dudes, i know they aren't emo (though they kinda look like emos) anyway, their vocals are horribly poser, i mean this dude was trying to do something like screaming or growling or i don't know what was he trying to do but it sucked dick hard, even when they tried to go metal they were still hardcore, and then there is the drumming, oh my god, they were everything but metal, and some kids say the drummer was the best in the world, are you serious? A7X = a joke.

Pantera invented Groove metal, one of my favorite genres. Really avenged went from metalcore to hard rock/heavy metal. people hate them cause they "sold out"

In fact people who hate pantera say cowboys from hell was decent. every other album sucked. Vulgar rules.
