Hitachi Tree

There's a tree in the Moanalua Gardens (Oahu, HI) that is used by the electronic/engineering company Hitachi. They think the tree(it's a monkey pod tree) is nice enough to pay $400,000 a year to use it! It even has it's own theme song, performed, here, by my friends Atsuko and Yuichi and later hastily (and probably mistakenly) transcribed by me (I only heard it a few times in the car):

Awh they're not that evil, besides embracing a green image and paying big bucks for trees is a good way to get away with what harm they do.

If Hitachi really was an energy company, they'd cut that tree down and burn it for power. Nice singing, though :)
