  • THANK U !!!!! kanOu officiel.......i like it

  • @kweencessX lol... you have a good hearing my friend.

N'bi fe is a release of N'toman, Salif just took the same basis of the song. At this time he would like to increase the world market with remix of old songs !!

  • WHAT AN EXCEPTIONAL TREAT!...... Once again, a young SALIF,and KANTE MANFILA just ripping it up!..... and of course the added bonus of a young KELETIGUI DIABATE on balaphon. He is absolutly a brilliant musician who I have been lucky enough to see many times now with HABIB KOITE'S excellent band.Total respect to whoever found and posted these rare gems!

  • Wow! le grand Salif a la belle epoque!!Sans oublier Kante Manfila.C'est super de voir leur debut.

  • @circeaz2007 Ahh, thank you ever so much.

  • @kweencessX It's not the same meaning. N'Bi Fe mean "I love you" while "N'Toman" mean something like a namesake. Someone who is named after you or you are named after that person. Hope that helped.

  • I recognise the lyrics and rhythm from N B'i Fe. I just wish I could understand. Does N'Toman mean the same thing as N B'i Fe? Or did he just add the chorus into that song and took the verses from this one? An explanation/translation would be great guys. Thank you.

  • Such beautiful, sweet, hot music. Kante Manfila burns on that guitar!! The whole band is smokin'....and can't say enough praises about Salif. Les Ambassadeurs really were brilliant. Many thanks for finding--and posting---these vintage vids!

  • @aniangado Saw him in Toronto. Heavy percussive rhythm throughout... not as spiritual or calm as the recording... Sounded much like Talking Heads or King Crimson circa 1981. Great great concert, but very different from the record experience.

  • que des merveilles
