Yeah...I watched Steve on Channel 4 when i was a kid...He played it straight and serious (usually).,..Which was a big contrast to Patrick Emory who had preceded him at Channel 4...

Steve irritated me with his type-A pitbull personality. I am sure he was not that way in real life. But who wants to watch the news and be shouted at?

Now, Karen Foss is a different story! Completely credible. Elegant and intelligent.

Schiff Went on to work for CNN for a bit then went into the Infomercial business and Was Executive Producer for some major Programs for some companies like Goodyear, SC Johnson Company, Coca-Cola.. He is now retired and lives on the beach in Florida.. Def one of the great newsmen of our time..
