...day (it was cut off from the video :s )

Once again we see how to make screencasts on Linux with ffmpeg.

This time we make a script to do the same thing that recorditnow does, but with the select window option. The script will be available on my blog : http://blog.egrounds.org

  • dope, imma try this out later

  • @gotbletu Great, I'll put it on github, and try to make the script better and more efficient, and why not make a plugin for RecordItNow for that.

  • @MocoPoloX theres also a thread on this in the ubuntu forums about using the fastest codecs, thread number 1392026

  • @gotbletu I noticed that you lately you use ffmpeg on Ubuntu 10.04. Do you have problems with other tools (recordmydesktop for e.g) ?

I heared OSGUI saying in one webcast that it su*ked. So looking for confirmation :)

  • @MocoPoloX yea sometimes u get video tearing, slowness or black lines using recordmydektop, u can search on youtube for recordmydesktop problems is pretty well known that it works for some and not others

  • @gotbletu I asked to know if something needs to be done ;) so here is a starter of a solution : watch?v=k9pMofzUP20
