Stop Uploading Those Exploits!

The Crouch+Jump exploit has been patched.

Ironically I posted this video the day before it got patched.

What is it then? A exploit is when you take advantage of something, in this case the Source engine.

No you first jump and then crouch. You are mixing them together.

Wrong. You are referring to Jump-Crouch. Where you jump then crouch to come higher in the air.

Crouch-Jump was a exploit in tf2 gave you the ability to go outside the map.

crouch + jump still exists, but its not as effective, since they patched building trough walls and roofs, which in turn broke most exploits, still crouch + jump is not fixed, and it still allows people to get to places they shouldnt be.... like the balcony

on the second cap on pl_goldrush, stage one. It can only be reached by engies if the CROUCH AND JUMP on top if ther dispencer and turn left. And crouch + jump

allowed me to do some exploits on custom maps.

Heh, you do relies that this video was posted waay way way back. Almost a year ago. The crouch jump let you get outside the map and thrust me, it was so big that every server had atleast 1 player doing it. Atleast on the servers I played back them.

there are huge glitches much glichier than this in games i cant even spell.......thats a small exploit WHICH IS NOT COMPLETLEY PTCHED, the way i use it now (for PC version on Jan 29 2009) is click crouch and 0.5 seconds later (crouch already 50% done) hit jump and viola a crouch jump. Valve does not look for exploits on youtube, they have bigger fish to fry. They are preparing for the scout patch now....

No, they can, and are working on making all the updates they made for the PC, for the Xbox. Apparently they want to make it free, but Microsoft is making Valve make a profit. This is most likely superstition, though.
