Actually, Splitblade (that last secret swordmaster you mention) can be accessed by kinstone fusion (with exactly who you probably would expect) as soon as you complete the Royal Valley. I mentioned that some "minor upgrades" had become available a few episodes back, and I pretty much meant him, Greatblade, and those Joy Butterflies (Scarblade has been available since you completed the Temple of Droplets).
