  • @dtw1958 It was actually Michael Landrum (the original Larry Kirby) and Lynn Lowry (Sandra Henderson).

  • @revmary Yes, it was a bedroom scene with ken Kercheval and ??, I believe the audience saw more than usual and the actors portrayed the beg or ending of the sexual act.

  • This was one my mom watched along with Somerset. Incidentally, there was also a serial with Jacquie Courtney during the mid 1960s entitled Our Five Daughters. Haven't even seen a promo on Y/T for that one.

Anyway, How To Survive A Marriage is definitely an obscure treatment.

  • I wish they would show re-runs of these older soaps

  • Anytime you feel like selling a copy of it, please let me know.

  • I remember this soap so well. My Aunts were watching every day when I arrived home from school. Thanks for the post !

  • they did a riskee scene wild sexual thing never done that far before

  • The actress who played Chris, Jennifer Harmon, went on to play the last Cathy Craig on OLTL. I saw her last year in a production of Richard III

  • WOW! I didn't realize it was only on the air for 3 months. It did indeed leave an impression. I remember Ken K...when I first watched Dallas I immediately remembered him for HTSAM. Also Brad Davis, who starred in Midnight Express and lots of other stuff, was on this as some young guy with an illness/disesae of some kind. I don't thnk I've ever seen the actress playing Chris in anything after this.

  • From what little bit I can remember, this soap was a LITTLE too adult for a child of ten what I was to be watching.
