This is actually a powerful video in the sense it shows Obama is a snake who was thinking this at the time because it was socially unacceptable to be a homosexual, and the only reason he supports it now is because he would love to dismantle white Christian America, with whatever means possible, and of course the votes are a main factor too

Sweden WAS socialist up until 1991 where voters had it with the increased taxes and diminishing services. They cut back severely on government ownership of some industries and went with Carl Bildt's conservative government. They threw out most of the socialists politicians BECAUSE it was failing them.

I've seen both Republicans and Democrats change their views on gays and gay marriage (none of which were people in power), so I do believe it is possible. Choosing whether Obama's beliefs genuinely changed or not is not a major concern of mine as a gay man. It's his actions as President that are meaningful and so far, so good in regards to LGBT rights in the military and the recent extension of benefits.

Sweden is not a socialist country. They actually ensure a free market. They have a highly developed welfare state, but welfare statism is not the same as socialism. In a socialist system the government owns the means of production. In a welfare state, the government taxes producers and uses that money to pay for the welfare of others. There is a HUUUGE difference between the two systems, so please don't confuse them. I do not mind welfare but I do not agree with socialism.

The harm in a socialist America is the fact that such a system undermines the liberty of the individual. Remember the American Revolution, "Give me Liberty or give me Death"? The people who founded and fought for this country's existence believed in the idea of freedom. A socialist system takes those freedoms away by forcing the public into a totalitarian economy and government. Freedom is when a person can say they refuse to pay a tax because it is unjust and not be persecuted. Socialism fails.
