it works with autos too, but only when you take your foot of the gas...

it uses the accelerometer in the phone to sense the cars movements. when the phone is fixed to the car, such as on the dash, it can detect when you accelerate and change gears, and uses this to simulate the boost gauge on the phone as well as make a 'psssht' sound of the blow off valve!
