I do not know what a Brook Rat is, but that a Mink for sure! American Mink's can get pretty big, I always find them near Brantford. Especially when I go out Channel Catting at night.

not an otter ,, or a weasel ,, it is a mink ... there are tons of them along the river .. we see em all the time ... they are in the "weasel" family tho like the otter ,, fisher ,, martin ,, wolverine ...

That ice jam almost flooded my house. Actually, that weasel is a mink. Poor little guy can't figure out whats going on!
