SNOWFALL - ONE OCTAVE UP - HENRY MANCINI

Henry Mancini's Snowfall is one octave up from the original. This was filmed in Second life & I am playing a Snow Leopard of course very high in the mountains of the Virtual world of Second life.

I have always loved this tune but I heard recently another version that was nothing like this and I have not been able to find it on the internet. I heard it on the radio lol. Sounds like a cliche but I well the DJ mentioned the name of the person who sang it & it was not Doris Day or Tony. It was another Jazz musician back in the day.

I wrote it down but I lost the paper. Figures. So I had wanted to do a Christmas video before Christmas so here it is but but wait there will be more....

Cutting Edge concerts is coming to my sim. Acamar & AviewTv will be there and we will have fun!!!!! A major requirement.

Frankie Goes to Hollywood concert. I wont say anymore but it will be fantastic!
Lets pray to the Machinima Gods all things work well and we have a lot of people to come and enjoy.

It is free and all I want is people to roam free around the sim and enjoy and have fun.
Hope to see you there @ the concert and be a part of the fun.

It will be recorded so be your virtual best!

  • The original recording of this (circa 1941( was by Claude Thornhill -- his composition and his big band's theme . . . perhaps that will help you find the recording you heard on the radio! Cheers and thanks for the pretty, whirling creation!

  • @swingyoucats Yes I knew that but I heard this other version on the radio & wrote down the name but lost it lol. Not any of your typical Jazz names. I'll keep looking but even when looking on the internet while searching that name I couldn't find it. I'll find it eventually lol maybe next yr. This is oh so lovely too.

  • @PROFILESophiaYates Because I watched your vids. Don't let anyone downplay it because it's SL. It's a way to express yourself and you do it uniquely and in an interesting way. I enjoy a lot of art and I also enjoy watching some of your vids.
