    Marriage is being joint together and becoming one flesh. No other union is like marriage as between one woman and one man. The word of God makes that clear in Mark 10:6-9. Any other union can not become one flesh, call it what you want bud not marriage. Gen.1:27, 5:2, 2:24, Math.5:32 God is the one that joints one woman and one man together. Any other joining is not of God. Not just living together, or of the same sex or of multiple partners or any other combination.

    The government's issuing of contracts to married couples has nothing to do with God's purpose for marriage. That argument holds no water whatsoever.
