I ran that trail last year and blew both lower ball joints on my vehicle, due to a stupid mistake on my part.
I'm heading back there in two weeks

I was there last weekend in my wrangler. The linkage to my 4wd was not working and I had to make it up that hill in 2wd. I was not so unhappy to go up in 2wd as much as I didn't have the low range and I have a stick shift. Didn't stall mind you, but it does make for a smoother ride when you can crawl slowly up that part of the trail.
