X Games in Slow Motion - 1000 fps

NetworkA and youtube channel Machinima invited me and a friend to be apart of filming the X Games in Aspen Colorado, so we took the offer, how could we not? :) This video is one of two that I will be releasing on my youtube channel. The next one will be released later this week! :)

The video was shot with a Canon 7D at 60fps. To get some of the shots to have 1000fps, I put the footage into After Effects, and I used a plugin I bought called "Twixtor". What it does is it adds frames in between the original frames. It creates totally brand new frames. So that is how that was accomplished.

The video was also shot on a Canon 70-200 F2.8 L series Lens.

@arufener Its really hard to render the slow motion of certain scenes to 1000 fps. I am sure he is using a program called twixter to slow down to extreme, but it all depends on the foreground and background, and for the landings, usually you cant go super slow with the program, it doesnt read it well and you get smug looking shots. He probably shot it native in 60 fps, and twixtor reads the video and can in some cases make a 1000 fps, and it can look real nice, but sometimes it looks aweful.
