A child whose sister or brother has a disability also has his or her own "special needs." This five-minute piece captures the diverse and often unrecognized challenges of being a special needs sibling, during the weekly meeting of a sibling support group.

@Freddiebarber666 don't feel bad because i know from experience since i'm an individual with special needs, although my case is not as severe as others but i have worked with other children who have mild as well as severe disabilities and i know from my experiences that the last thing that they want is to get special treatment and people feeling sorry for them

i am a 12 year old girl from stoke . my brother is 9 and special needs . my mum is too busy to do anything with me and my dad left when i was young . i feel like everyone forgets there siblings and it affect's us more than anyone else . i miight aswell have grown up wiht out parents .. iv been forced to grow up faster than i wud of liked

Don't be so fast to label your kids with some strange behavior problem. Be sure its necessary to get help for it. Most kids are labeled wrong and to soon. Most kids can live just fine without any lame treatment, med or care.

i have autsim and every day i see otheer people with the condtion and it makes me fell so sad beacuse mine its more advanced and some of the people i go to resbite with there condtion are a lot worse and it makes me feel so sad and i fell sop sorry for them
