My point is that we still condone torture officially nothing has changed. We are still engaged in questionable activities domestically and our rights have not been restored since stripped away by the previous administration.
I'd like to know where the "principled" response is from our government.
US corporates lead the way in building factories in China so they could shut them down in the US. Free trade had nothing to do with it as China had and still has many high tarriff barriers and import regulations. US corporates favour China's essentially fascist dictatorship over US workers and the long term welfare of the US.
Don't expect anything principled from a US corporation. They now run the government....which is why it also is unprincipled.

Yeah what DynaCatlovesme said! As you well know we are so far sucked into the system that we cant live. Change? Perhaps, but not for the better.
