ZOMG!!! I'm buying this! Definitely, and in UK for the same price as an ipod touch! But Apple will still win with their brand loyalty.
BTW, can you use a stylus?

@akthm11 You're absolutely right, I had the gray keyboard to start with. This was a keyboard that I downloaded. Not sure of the name, possibly "any keyboard" or "better keyboard".
But my recommendation is really to use swype. It's infinitely better than this.

@akthm11 Just the standard one that comes on the device at that point. Now I use swype as it's much faster.

I always thought about doing that, it would take a little work but it could be done, besides the newer one would be better suited to that due to FM receiver and GPS

can it be used in the car as the main stereo

yea it might but only presets and you have to customize them on your computer at that. This has full customization on the device with many HZ DB and Khz settings. I don't know if this has BBE+ but even at that it can do way more than ipod.

personally i heard it was phennomanall! but its just what i have heard not tried...the nice thing on this is that it has and EQ unlike any of the ipod models....

It's ok but could be much much better. It's also way too quiet at maximum volume.

system, i was simply wondering if both hands fit quite comfortably in the screen in order to type, I imagine you don't have three hands :-P (though you could just fix the camera somewhere)

Hehe yeah I did have the camera on a tripod really. The main reason for typing with 1 hand is that the screen is not multitouch and you can find yourself hitting two letters at the same time which doesn't work. But two hands do fit very comfortably around the device and you can type with thumbs like you would on a mobile phone quite quickly.
