  • Awesome, very usefull info! I own a h16 and I'been having some difficulties to remove the old grip from the side bar. I see you used steel wool and... alcohol? methanol? thanks for your help.

  • Neoprene is better. It's more durable and more comfortable for those long rails sits. But it you are looking for a good cheap fix, carpet works pretty well too.

  • Awesome Video. I'm about to replace the carpet on my Hobie 16 and this really helped. I know you replaced carpet in this video but what do you think about Neoprene? I've heard that Neoprene lasts longer than carpet.
