Regardless of whether you believe we went to the moon or not, the fact remains that three men died in what was to be the first manned Apollo mission. As part of the recent 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, we explore the the dark and disturbing truth regarding the Apollo 1 mission. It is clear that NASA and North American Aviation planned the Apollo 1 fire and let Grissom and his crew die, and have effectively covered up the truth of what happened that day. If it wasn't murder, it was severe negligence in the extreme.

In the video 'Final moments of Apollo One' the transcript of the men in the doomed capsule are always reported wrongly. After the words “We’ve got a fire in the cockpit”. He begins to say “Open.....” but is cut off.

The next words after “We have a bad fire” are not (as reported) “I’m burning up!” they are actually “Open it up!!.... Open up” If you listen you can clearly hear that this is what’s being said. The guy who posted won't put my comment up though for some reason.

Your cabin pressure math makes no sense. If the cabin failed at 29 psi it means that it couldn't withstand an outward pressure differential of 14.3 psi, not 8.8. We don't even really know that. It might not have been just the pressure that caused hull rupture. The CM was never designed to have 1000+ deg. temperatures in the cabin. You can flame cut 1/4" steel with 25psi oxygen. Aluminum would stand no chance. So we don't really know what the max cabin pressure would be under normal conditions.
