Jess Franco's Barbed Wire Dolls (1975) Trailer

An English-language trailer I cut together for Barbed Wire Dolls since the only other trailer in existence is the German "Frauengefängnis" trailer. This trailer was also used to promote two Canadian screenings of the film in the fall of 2010, one of which I programmed.

@Sulik213 Scenes were captured from the Region 2 DVD, so the footage is SD but I had imported them into an HD timeline in my editing program, uprezed them, and exported it.

@106588 No, just one of the sleazier entries into the "Women in Prison" genre. A whole slew of films that spawned over the decades starting in the 50s. Films such as Caged (1950), 99 Women (1969), The Big Doll House (1971), Chained Heat (1983), Red Heat (1985), etc. etc. etc.

The movie is Grade A Trash i freaking love it.

Even in its uncut version, which I hear is the one showing in Toronto very soon (tomorrow night as I write this), this is still another piece of Jess Franco tedium. The hardcore stuff doesn't really ad much, but it at least keeps your eyes open while you keep waiting for ol' Jess to try that galling "slow motion" effect again, which he never does.
