香港美景多璀璨 Hong Kong scenery (1950)

Images of Hong Kong are rare in old Cantonese movies and here are some from the classic Cantonese movie "The Misarranged Love Trap" (dir. Mok Hong Si, 1950). In this clip we can see Repulse Bay (0:47 - 1:15) , Aberdeen (1:24 -1:40) , Central (2:48 - 2:52), and highlight is the legendary Luna Park (1:59 - 2:16), an amusement park in North Point from 1949 to 1955.

1950年代經典電影《擺錯迷魂陣》 (1950), 莫康時導演, 改編自高雄作品《經紀拉》。歌女在俱樂部娛賓, 淺水灣 (0:47 - 1:15)、香港仔 (1:24 - 1:40)、中環 (2:48 - 2:52) 是歌曲裏的情侶浪漫地點, 驚喜的是傳說中北角月園遊樂場 (1:59 - 2:16)。

I've always liked 陳翠屏even though she usually plays secondary characters in movies. There is just something about her that I like a lot. I'm glad her grandson posted here. Hope she is well.

陳天縱就是陳笑風的父親，1952年才舉家遷回廣州，1978年­病逝。馮應湘則於1955年病逝。
