Great work, Tim. Rivalled only by one other S FL railfan. Seriously, very good job. One of these nights you'll get the money shot, if I don't beat you to it first. ;-)

Amazing long trains in America.
We in Austria have not as long trains, but more different and faster ones.....

Wow, Tim! That E109 was epic! I can't believe you caught it in daylight! I can't believe that guy that ran the gates on 101 too! Great video, Tim! Another Fav!

@rufec12 Thanks, Rudy. I think that E109 was originally supposed to depart earlier in the morning, but didn't for some reason. When they left Hialeah, I knew it had to be them considering nothing else would leave Hialeah around that time on a Saturday except maybe an O920 if needed. The driver that ran the gates just stared at me while stopped on the tracks as if nothing was going to happen. Not to mention how they had their windows up instead of down.

But whoever was honking that horn on the unit did a pretty good job, telling them "WE'RE COMING AND WE CAN'T STOP SO QUICK!"

The engineer on 101 was seconds away from applying the emergency brakes because that motorist refused to move until 101 was near. What she should have done was stop behind the gates as the gates were going down so there would be no risk of an accident.

That car was so close from getting smashed

The worst part about that for me is that I would have been right in the path of the debris had there been a collision. I was literally just seconds away from running for my life before the motorist started to move her car.
