A TV profile of the late blues musician Paul deLay c. 2003. For some reason, among all of the stories I did during this period, people remember this one the most....maybe it's the ribs. Producer/Reporter: Tom D'Antoni, Camera: Greg Bond, Tom Shrider, Editor: Greg Bond
RIP Paul, he changed the direction of blues harp, and that's saying a lot. His influence will be felt for decades and beyond. Also RIP Leapin' Leo, who passed just a few weeks ago in March 2011.

Paul De Lay - Legend! Sadly missed. Absolutely unique playing style and someone who was the whole musical package, in that he sung and wrote original tunes. Thanks for posting this video so those of us who never met him can get a little sense of what the man was like. Lee

He really did have his own approach to harp and that is RARE!
Wish more people would see this one!

Thanks SO much for putting this on here. Of all the things I miss most about living in Portland, is it's great music. Who knew I didn't have to move to Nashville to find great BBQ!! : ) RIP sweet Paul.
