It gets really annoying no offense. Also I don't know what is exactly used in the video. So I'd rather keep it in the air instead of saying something completely wrong

@shaolinfingajab ok, i should have watched the whole video... i do it the hammer on and pull off way, same frets... its not wierd.. if you have a decent Marshall amp it will pick it up just fine.. its the best way to play it...

I play the melody different, on different frets, with hammer ons and pull offs, it sounds more authentic to me, it rolls when you play it, it sounds more fluid..

Can anyone name the strat he's playing... It's a real beauty... Probably a vintage or a custom shop relic but can anybody name the exact model?

haha! i've been listening to jimi for about 10 years now, and heard that if some musicians looked at what he played, they'd be like, "this makes absolutely no sense." not until i watched this video (i'm now playing guitar, too) did i really appreciate this. how the hell did he come up with this?
